Three people have been killed and another seriously injured in a two-car collision on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
The horror smash occurred at about 6pm Sunday on Rifle Range Road in Upper Coomera.
Police say a male driver and his female passenger died at the scene.
A male passenger in the same car was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital where he died a short time later.
The 28-year-old driver of the second car was also taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Forensic investigations are continuing and police have requested anyone with dashcam footage or who witnessed the crash to get in contact.
Meanwhile, a cyclist is dead and another is in a serious condition after a collision with a car north of Brisbane.
Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Boden and Harrison roads in Wamuran about mid-morning on Sunday.
A 55-year-old woman was flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where she died. A 56-year-old man is in the same hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The 73-year-old driver was not injured.
Police want anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
