A teenager has been charged with stabbing two people during a brawl outside a home on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Police say the 17-year-old boy got into a fight with an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy at home on Kalowendha Ave, Pelican Waters, about 1am on Saturday.
The man suffered cuts to his abdomen and the younger teen suffered cuts to his arm and back.
Both were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 17-year-old has been charged with two counts of wounding and is due to appear in Maroochydore Childrens Court in January.
Meanwhile, a man has been charged with stabbing another man in the upper abdomen during a fight outside a tavern on the Gold Coast.
Police say the men, aged 20 and 30, had a verbal argument outside the Lonestar Tavern on Markeri St, Mermaid Waters, about 9pm on Monday.
The younger man then allegedly stabbed the older man before fleeing in a car.
The older man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the 20-year-old was pulled over and arrested at Worongary about 9:30pm.
He has been charged with wounding and is due to face Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
