Detectives arrested the people and seized cash, drugs and property worth $1 million in raids across Fortitude Valley, New Farm and greater Brisbane.

Ten men and 10 women, aged 25 to 55 were, were arrested in 15 raids on Thursday and Friday.

A 40-year-old Newstead man was arrested and charged with 86 counts of supplying dangerous drugs and one count of trafficking.

He was denied bail and was due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.

The other people will face 217 charges in court over the coming weeks.

Detective Inspector Glen Farmer said the seizure of drugs and arrest of syndicate members would make the city safer.

“We will continue to target these organised drug trafficking networks to reduce the harm they cause to people in our community,” he said.
