One man in hospital, another in custody after alleged assault
One man has been rushed to hospital and another is in custody after an alleged assault on the driveway of a suburban Brisbane home.

Police were called to the Wilston address at about 7am on Friday where they found the man on the driveway with significant injuries, including to his head.
“”He’s been taken to the Royal Brisbane hospital for treatment urgently so that they can hopefully see him to recovery,” duty officer Mick Ackery from Queensland Police said.

It’s believed a weapon was used in the alleged assault, and officers are trying to establish if the two men knew each other.
A crime scene is in place and witnesses are urged to come forward.
