Captain Reynolds as well as young hooker Kobe Hetherington, reported minor flu-like symptoms and returned a positive Rapid Antigen Tests, the club said on Thursday.

They are waiting for results from PCR tests and, if positive, they will be required to isolate for a seven-day period and return a negative test before returning to the club.

The club said that a positive result would rule them out of the round-one match against the Rabbitohs in Brisbane next Friday night, “in line with return-to-play protocols once players come out of isolation”.

Reynolds was already in doubt for the clash with his former club with a hamstring injury which kept him out of the final match trial against North Queensland last Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Queensland has recorded six COVID-19 deaths and 6479 new cases with hundreds still in hospital with the virus.

The cases emerged after 14,199 tests across Queensland in the 24 hours to 6.30am on Thursday.

There are 315 patients being treated for COVID-19 in hospital and another 26 in intensive care with 30,126 active cases across the state.

The latest figures show 92.9 per cent of eligible Queenslanders have received one dose of a vaccine, while 90.9 per cent have had two.
