Brisbane IT company Data 3 expected a first-half profit of close to $25 million, but its supply chain issues remain unresolved.
The company said the result would be near the upper end of its profit guidance of between $21 million and $25 million.
It said it had experienced a gradual improvement in the supply chain, “however, the overall backlog has not changed materially due to an increased volume of business”.
The profit expectation was significantly higher than last year’s result for the first half of $12.4 million.
Data 3 shares are trading at $6.71.
