Bonza’s chair heads back overseas as Reef Casino loses long time executive Allan Tan and more.
After 17 years with Allan Tan has announced his retirement from his role as a director of Reef Corporate Services, the responsible entity for Reef Casino Trust, which owns the Cairns casino.
Tan would continue as a director until a replacement was found. He has previously been the chief executive officer of Casinos Austria International (Cairns) which operates the casino.
Bonza chairman Rick Howell has reportedly left the company three months after the airline’s first commercial flight.
Reports said he has headed back overseas to pursue more opportunities with Bonza’s parent, private equity company 777.
Bonza has not responded to questions about Howell’s position.

Her most recent executive role was as vice president of external relations for Rio Tinto Energy.

Brisbane-based Hawsons Iron has revealed that its chair Dave Woodall would retire.
The decision coincides with the board’s move to conduct a strategic skills and composition review.
Woodall became chair in May last year to lead the company to its bankable feasibility study for its iron ore project in NSW.
