QIC’s Patrick Mulholland has picked up a new role while Michael Hill International has opted for some marketing experience and Queensland Theatre gets a new boss, plus more in this week’s board and executive appointments.
After finalising the acquisition of 50 per cent of Vector Metering, QIC’s Patrick Mulholland has been appointed to the board.
Vector is a New Zealand based company but also operates in Australia.
Mulholland was made a partner at QIC, Global Infrastructure in June.
Michael Hill International has appointed Dave Whittle to its board as a non-executive director.
Whittle was the founder of software company Lexer and was also on the board of Myer.
He spent a decade with M&C Saatchi during which he was managing director in Australia.
Brisbane 3D data company Euclideon has promoted Kristian Wares to chief executive.
It said Wares had previously been director of sales and chief operations officer.
Rose Litigation Lawyers has appointed Martin Kingston as the firm’s chief operating officers.
The firm said Kingston had an extensive background in the legal industry, including 34 years at Hopgood Ganim, where he served as COO for many of those years.
The firm works with businesses and individuals across a range of industries including building and construction, professional services, property development, real estate.
Central Queensland University alumni Steven Boxall said he was starting as a member of the university’s council.
He said it was a humbling event for him after completing a Bachelor of Business at CQU in the early 90s.
Boxall is currently the chief executive of the Resources Centre of Excellence. He was previously the CEO of Barcaldine Council.
Criena Gehrke has been appointed as executive director of Queensland Theatre.
A Queensland local, she worked with Circa Contemporary Circus to support the development of Circa Cairns, a First Nations-led regionally based company, and as executive director, Arts Access Victoria, she was instrumental in developing Australia’s only disability film festival.
Go1 has announced the appointment of four experienced leaders to accelerate the company’s global expansion. Joining the executive team, Daniel Hayward will serve as chief customer officer, Arnauld Mitre will serve as chief content officer, Shannon Tatz will serve as chief financial officer and Tony Ward will serve as chief revenue officer to support the company’s rocketship growth.
The University of the Sunshine Coast has appointed Niranjan Prabhu as its chief information officer.
He previously held a similar role at the Australian Catholic University.
Battery company Li-S has appointed Bob Gaylen and Isobel Sheldon it its global advisory panel.
Before retirement Gaylen was chief technology officer with CATL, the world’s largest lithium-ion battery manufacturer.
Sheldon is a 20-year veteran of the industry and was engineering and technology officer with Johnson Matthey Battery Systems and Cummins Electrical Power.
Richmond Vanadium has elevated its chief project engineer Lily Zhao as technical director.
Zhao is an engineer with 20 years of experience in project management and engineering. She will take responsibility of the metallurgical test work and process flowsheet.
Propel Health AI has appointed Navid Toosi Saidy as its chief executive.
He was previously digital health lead at Max Kelsen.
