Man faces attempted murder charge after Rocky woman stabbed multiple times

Police in central Queensland have charged a man with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a woman known to him multiple times.

Authorities were called to a home in Rockhampton on Sunday around 7pm where a woman was found with multiple stab wounds to her neck.

The 38-year-old was taken to Rockhampton Hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
