Join Harry, Ron and Hermione on the big screen while Queensland Symphony Orchestra accompanies the trio on their journey, performing Alexandre Desplat’s epic score.
Fans of the series have been gleefully hopping on-board the Hogwarts Express to join Queensland Symphony Orchestra and CineConcerts for the previous six Harry Potter films.
Having put on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in early 2023, audiences and critics packed Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre to experience Queensland Symphony Orchestra performing to the beloved sixth film. Described as “a magical concert for muggles, magicians and music lovers alike with another fantastical flawless presentation by Buc and the QSO” by 4ZZZ’s Dr Gemma Regan, the orchestra can’t wait to capture that magic again!
Now, after almost seven years of Harry Potter magic and music, Brisbane has finally arrived at the last stand in the battle for the Wizarding World. Relive the spellbinding penultimate film of the Harry Potter series, or experience the spells, charms, and magic for the first time with the bonus of a LIVE symphony orchestra!
Deciding not to return to Hogwarts for their final year, our heroes Harry, Ron and Hermione embark on a secret mission given to them by Professor Dumbledore. The three must work together to locate the remaining Horcruxes, the secret to Lord Voldemort’s immortality, but their mission won’t be easy.
Voldemort and his Death Eaters have infiltrated the Ministry of Magic, turning friend into foe, and making Harry Potter public enemy number one! Harry, Ron and Hermione must use everything they have learned at Hogwarts to keep themselves hidden to achieve their mission and save the Wizarding World.
Following leads, deciphering clues, testing friendships, and questioning who they can trust, the trio’s final adventure will be their hardest yet.
Brought to you on the big screen at the Great Hall in the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 in Concert is an epic live event not to be missed.
