Woman arrested after allegedly stabbing man, 80, to death in Cairns

A woman is in custody following the death of an 80-year-old man in the Cairns suburb of Palm Cove.

Police said emergency services were called to an address on Williams Esplanade on reports of a serious assault about 10.50pm on Tuesday and found the man with stab wounds.
