Are you being served? Queen’s Wharf Star Grand takes its first bookings

Brisbane’s newest luxury hotel, The Star Grand, has opened the books today for its first reservations and will start welcoming its first guests from August 29.

The Star Grand offers 340 rooms, with 276 standard City King, City Twin and River King rooms, 60 suites and four ‘Skyline Penthouse Suites’ across two levels.

The creation of the hotel reportedly tooks over 12,000 sqm of carpet and 16,200 sqm of wallpaper and the amenities incorporate   340 keys, 412 beds, 408 televisions, 378 toilets, 2540 pieces of individual furniture, 5400 individual lights, and 6300 power points.

“As the team prepare to unveil a destination almost a decade in the making, we are thrilled to invite guests of The Star Grand hotel to be among the first to experience the grand possibilities that await,” said The Star Brisbane Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Finch. 

As part of the multi-stage opening of the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf precinct, five-star resort The Star Grand is officially opening its hotel bookings from Monday July 15 for stays commencing August 29. 

“With venue openings rolling out over the coming months, our returning guests will have the opportunity to enjoy new experiences each time they visit including a wide-range of culinary delights and the unveiling of our hotel pools, steam room, sauna and gym in time for summer.

The Star Grand’s place within The Star Brisbane and wider Queen’s Wharf precinct will add a new dimension to the city, strengthening Brisbane’s competitive advantage and providing domestic and international visitors even more compelling reasons to visit Queensland ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”

The Star Grand Brisbane is the first of four luxury hotels intended to make up part of the Queen’s Wharf development. A 4.5-star Dorsett hotel and Australian-exclusive Rosewood hotel are planned to open in future phases, alongside a heritage hotel within the Treasury Brisbane.
