Luxury property leaders celebrated as PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards marks ninth year
The 9th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) were held at Shangri-La Sydney on September 4, supported by Sub-Zero & Wolf.
This year’s awards honoured 19 winning organisations, celebrating the nation’s best developers, architects and designers across residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use developments.
Award Winners
Taking centre stage was Sterling Global – taking home three major accolades, including Best Luxury Developer, Best Luxury Developer (Victoria) and Best Apartment Architectural Design for 623 Collins State Bank House.
MD Living took home Best Luxury Developer (New South Wales), with its project Castello Al Mare also winning Best Luxury Single Residence (NSW) and Best Oceanview Single Residence.
Palm Lake Group scored in multiple sectors, winning Best Lifestyle Housing Developer and collecting wins for Palm Lake Resort Pelican Waters, including Best Housing Development (Australia).
Capital Luxury Residences earned both Best Luxury Developer (Queensland) and Best Waterfront Single Residence for its project NOI.
Marwood claimed several awards for Exchange 432, and ArNik Design & Build earned a double victory for Wynyard House and Elizabeth St House.
When it came to individual excellence, founder and CEO of Sterling Global Group, Neil Li, was named Real Estate Personality of the Year. Rafer Gao, project developer and sales manager at Kokomo Gold Coast, was recognised with 2026’s Rising Star award, which celebrated his rapid achievements in the property sector and vision of low-rise riverfront living in Queensland.

Noting the new benchmarks set for liveability, quality and innovation, chairperson Ivan Lam said: “This year’s winners are particularly impressive for their diversity, spanning luxury residences, student accommodation, senior living and more, across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. What stands out is their ability to balance lifestyle desirability with thoughtful design, innovation and commercial viability.”
The winners may advance to the 2026 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on December 11 in Bangkok, Thailand.
