A Gold Coast-based company that supplies every Formula 1 team in the world has been named the 2025 Queensland Exporter of the Year.
PWR Advanced Cooling Technology took out the top award at the 2025 Queensland Export Awards, recognising its success in taking its tech internationally.
The company – which also won the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Award – makes high-performance cooling systems. These are used by every Formula 1 team in the world, alongside NASCAR and MotoGP. Defence and aerospace clients also use the company’s thermal management tech.
Finance, Trade and Employment Minister Ros Bates said PWR and the other winners exemplified the strength of the state’s export sector.
“From advanced manufacturing and health to education and technology – these businesses are world-class,” Bates said.
“We are backing ambition, and Queensland exporters are leading the way.”
There were a record number of applicants in the 2025 Awards across 15 categories. The Queensland winners will represent the state at the Australian Export Awards in Canberra on November 15.
