A Sunnybank man almost missed a multimillion-dollar Lotto win – claiming he was “too busy” to read his ticket.

A newly-minted multimillionaire said he almost missed reading his life-changing Lotto ticket, because he was “too busy” at work to look at the ticket.
The Sunnybank dad only realised he had won three days later, and said he “can’t stop shaking” after finding out he was more than $3 million richer.
“I didn’t even notice the win,” he said.
“I had checked my tickets yesterday and I completely missed the win. I’ve been too busy at work to look at my tickets properly.”
The man bought his winning Saturday Gold Lotto ticket on The Lott app.
The winning numbers were 8, 41, 3, 18, 39 and 40, with 32 and 13 as supplementary numbers.
“I’m very happy,” he said.
“It’s not every day that you win $3 million.
With the multimillion-dollar boost about to land his way, the Queenslander had one thing in mind.
“This will help my family in so many ways,” he said.
“We will be able to buy a house which is so exciting.”
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 334 so far this financial year.
