Man arrested after woman dies from alleged assault
Police have arrested a man after a young woman was found unresponsive following an alleged assault at a home.
A man has been arrested after a woman died from an alleged assault at a suburban home.
The woman was found in a life-threatening condition after emergency services were called to the Slacks Creek home, about 50km south of Brisbane, around 12.30am on Wednesday.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, died at the scene.

A 37-year-old man from Slacks Creek is assisting police with inquiries.
“The man and woman were known to each other. However, we are unable to comment further on their relationship at this stage,” a Queensland Police spokesperson said.
A crime scene has been established, and police said there is no further threat to the community.
