Last year, families the world over rejoiced when it was announced that the Brisbane-born megahit Bluey would be getting its very own immersive experience in the heart of Hamilton. After months of anticipation, we’ve finally snagged a sneak peek at Bluey’s World before its grand opening next month. Keep reading for all the wackadoo details …

Almost six years ago to the day, South Brisbane-based animation house Studio Ludo introduced the world to its latest creation – Bluey. The kid’s TV show would quickly soar to new heights of fame, as the world fell in love with the adorable Heeler family and their joyous life living in the suburbs of Brisbane. As the world’s most-watched TV show, it’s no surprise that the world of Bluey has stretched beyond the screen. But this time, it’s so much more than some fresh merchandise or a collab with Tourism Australia – Bluey has gotten her very own experience park. Bluey’s World is a 4000-sqm experience that’s been coming to life over the last year, offering Bluey buffs the chance to step into an episode. With a sprawling recreation of the animated world of Bluey, the technicolour experience is complete with all Studio Ludo’s signature details. This newly revealed first look of the park showcases a bunch of key locations as seen on the hit TV show, including the front porch and living room.

“Bluey’s World is the place to come for a fun-filled immersive adventure through the Heeler’s home and beyond,” shares Kate O’Connor, director of brands and licensing at BBC Studios ANZ. “With every detail meticulously brought to life in large scale (including hidden long dogs), Bluey’s neighbourhood to play in at the end, plus a fantastic range of exclusive merchandise at Alfie’s Gift Shop, there is something to excite every Bluey fan!”

Visitors start their day at Bluey’s World by entering the familiar front door of Bluey’s home. But after Unicorse hatches a plan to freeze Bluey and Bingo, it’s up to the visitors to free Bluey and Bingo and save the day. Beyond this quest, you can also wander multiple interactive play zones, snap photos with beloved characters and be immersed in the joy, magic and adventure of all things Bluey.
