How brave are you? The Valley’s haunting new attraction will test your mettle

Rejoice Brisbane horror fans – or tremble in fear – as Fortitude Valley’s Challenge Room attraction, Prison Island, makes a bone-chilling return Friday October 16. Thrill-seekers can expect to run, hide and test their might in this reimagined horror story. However, be warned… only the bravest will make it out unscathed.

A terrifying new encounter is set to haunt Brisbane this October, as immersive entertainment specialists, Make It Now, look to turn the challenge room experience on its head. In a celebration of Halloween and all things spooky, Fortitude Valley’s Prison Island has been given a makeover, with live performers, unscripted encounters and over 35 unique rooms putting a new spin on the interactive outing.

Taking place across six nights, participants will attempt to brave the Prison’s many trials and obstacles in teams of two to five. Groups will need to carve their own path to victory, each given 60 minutes and free reign to choose what challenges they’d like to take on.

From the faint-hearted to the fearless, Prison Island will test the resolve of even the most hardened horror veterans and adrenaline junkies, with each cell demanding strength, wits, speed and courage to overcome. No matter the route, guests can expect a sinister atmosphere throughout—the Prison’s dark past written into everything you see.

Prison Island: Horror Story is yet another fresh addition to Brisbane’s growing nightlife, with the remake being a collaboration between Make It Now and global live entertainment platform Fever. It’s another jewel in the bank of Brisbane’s expanding cultural capital and a step towards distinguishing itself both domestically and nationally.

More importantly, it’s a great night out for those looking for a scare. Keen to check it out? Prison Island: Horror Story will run for three weekends between October 16–31. For further details on booking or pricing, visit the Fever website.
