Allpress Espresso has opened a new roaster-managed espresso bar on Robertson Street in Fortitude Valley, taking over the former Jamie’s Espresso site and doubling the brand’s Brisbane footprint alongside its East Brisbane hub. Designed in collaboration with Foolscap and Lowry Group, the space balances contemporary polish with everyday ease, featuring large bifold windows, a stainless-steel service counter, a pour-over bar and locally crafted design elements, including custom concrete and coffee chaff render. The venue serves Allpress’ full range of blends, rotating single origins on espresso and filter, cold brew via a Freepour Batch tap system, and signature drinks, alongside pastries from Sprout Artisan Bakery, sandwiches and affogatos made with Rosé Gelateria gelato. A compact retail offering of take-home coffee and locally made ceramics rounds out the experience, with the cafe also functioning as a touchpoint for wholesale partners and a welcoming, neighbourhood-focused coffee destination.
