Bar Rocco is a Coorparoo osteria and bar operated by the team by Ramona Trattoria. Designed as a more approachable counterpart to the restaurant itself, Bar Rocco offers a more free-flowing menu boasting snacks, pizzetta and a clutch of mains cooked on a woodfired grill. Guests can pop in for plates of crocchette di patate (potato croquettes with parmigiano, scarmorza and pepper), fiori di zucca fritti (fried zucchini flowers filled with lemon and herb buffalo ricotta), crumbed veal panino, or linger longer to devour Skull Island tiger prawns with capers, herbs and lemon, house salsiccia condita e fagioli. The beverage menu is shared across both venues, with a wine list encompassing Italian, French, Portuguese, Australian and Austrian vino (two whites and two reds are available via Coravin in 75- and 150-ml pours). Cocktails are also a specialty, with a range of riffs on familiar concoctions available alongside four spritzes and a selection of digestivos.
