Fox Coffee has reopened in Geebung following a full refurbishment of its bustling warehouse roastery, marking a milestone ten years of fuelling Brisbane’s coffee crowd. Since launching in 2016, founders James, Susan and Peter May have grown the operation from a small roasting setup into a dependable stop for locals, building a loyal following thanks to its quality beans and excellent brews.
The exciting makeover has refreshed the espresso bar, service area and dining space, giving the warehouse a slick new look while allowing its team of 20-plus baristas to operate more efficiently.
At the heart of it all is a serious line-up of gear – six Markibar grinders, two La Marzocco machines and a pair of Ubermilk frothers – arranged in a streamlined workflow to keep cups moving quickly.
Fox’s own coffee remains front and centre, with the team roasting its signature blends onsite each week. Crafted, Hunter and Dusk form the core trio, each developed through careful bean selection and roasted on the Probat and IMF machines that have powered Fox since the early days. The popular blends are available in take-home packs of up to 1kg, with retail bags also available online and via the 24/7 on-site vending machine.
Coffee isn’t the only drawcard – the Fox kitchen keeps the cabinet well stocked with focaccia toasties, Italian-style bomboloni and brioche Vegemite scrolls, alongside housemade biscuits, muffins, sausage rolls and quiches.
