Golden Avenue

Tucked into a new brutalist-inspired building on Edward Street, Golden Avenue is the Anyday group’s first Brisbane City venture – a vibrant, skylit restaurant celebrating the flavours of the Levant. Natural light spills through skylights and retractable roofs, bouncing off textured tiles, snaking palm trees and the pink warmth of juparana granite, softening the fennel-hued concrete structure and stainless steel finishes. Tiered seating weaves through the expansive space, offering both quiet corners and lively shared-dining areas, while Habibi Funk music pulses, creating a dynamic indoor street-party atmosphere. Expect generous Middle Eastern feasting – hummus perfected over a month, flaky pita from a bespoke oven, mezze, grilled seafood, woodfired lamb and fragrant sweets. A curated 150-bottle wine list and Levantine-inspired cocktails – spiced with mint, rose, saffron, and aleppo pepper – perfectly complement the menu. Adjacent to the restaurant, GA, Golden Avenue’s sibling bar, is accessible from the restaurant or via a separate entrance. It features a back bar stocked with more than 130 spirits and a dedicated snack menu served until late every night. Together, the spaces offer a dining experience that is warm, playful and unapologetically joyful.
