Hello Please first popped up on Fish Lane in 2016, wowing foodies with its tasty take of Vietnamese street cuisine. Three years on the concept has evolved, moving up the laneway to a larger location, with so much more room for activities. The original shipping container kitchen was moved and installed inside next to a brand-new cold room and enclosed casual dining space, with some extra bells and whistles installed to help improve the menu. Further inside sits the bar, where up to 60 guests can linger over drinks and snacks while waiting for a table at one of Fish Lane’s nearby restaurants or a show at QPAC. Hello Please’s menu now strays away from a Vietnamese-centric offering, weaving in elements of Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai cuisines for a well-rounded menu. Menu highlights include tuna tostada with gochujang creme, prawn toastie with yuzu mayo, kimchi porchetta, market fish crudo with laksa dressing and bay lobster dumplings swimming in fermented chilli butter. The fare is supported by a beverage program encompassing classic and signature cocktails, new-wave wines and beers.
