San Telmo is the Brisbane outpost of Melbourne’s acclaimed Argentinian-inspired steakhouse, bringing the traditions of asado culture to a striking Edward Street dining room centred around a custom charcoal parrilla grill. Led by restaurant director Ben Robinson and head chef Mikey Dalton, the menu celebrates premium Australian produce with Argentinian flair, spanning house-made empanadas, provoleta, parrilla-grilled beef short ribs, signature steaks, free-range chicken, pork and seafood, alongside an extensive wine list rich in Argentinian malbec, Patagonian pinot and imported favourites like Quilmes and Fernet-Branca. Designed by Kate Archibald, the warm, rustic interior evokes the spirit of Buenos Aires with walnut, leather, reclaimed timber and brass accents, creating an inviting setting where fire, ritual and generous hospitality take centre stage.
