Savour Cafe

In early 2020, New Farm eatery Vue Lounge underwent some renovations and a rebrand, transforming into Savour Cafe. The owners, Matt and Dan Jefferis wanted to incorporate their popular patisserie range into the cafe’s offering while still maintaining the welcoming reputation they had built over 15 years. An interior makeover replaced Vue’s original dark palette with a Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic, foregrounding light timbers, white furnishings and plenty of greenery. The menu underwent come tasty tweaks too, with breakfast dishes (including peperonata bruschetta
with poached eggs and haloumi served on toasted turkish) and lunch eats (coconut prawns with coriander, roasted capsicum, spinach, cherry tomatoes and roasted cashews) becoming clear favourites. Savour Cafe has also updated its coffee choice, roasting and serving its own specialty blend alongside loose-leaf tea from neighbour Tour de Tea, muddled juices and healthy smoothies.
