Queensland’s oldest licensed pub, the Grand View Hotel, reopened mid-October 2025 after a major renovation – one that blends 174 years of history with modern flair. Overlooking North Stradbroke Island, the revamped Grand View Hotel features expanded dining spaces, state-of-the-art kitchens (including Australia’s largest rotisserie oven), a cutting-edge beer system and new event areas like a function marquee, upper terrace and pet-friendly lawn. Heritage highlights include a preserved cistern from 1855 and untouched original rooms. With live music, outdoor screens, family-friendly zones and room for over 1000 guests, the GV is set to become a premier bayside destination once again.
