A Weekend for the Neighbourhood

Following its $15-million transformation, Point Hotel in Kangaroo Point is inviting the community down to A Weekend for the Neighbourhood.

Across Saturday November 14 and Sunday November 15 visitors can explore the hotel’s reimagined spaces and enjoy a range of free activities, including live music, yoga and pilates wellness sessions, live portrait illustrations, a bouquet bar, dog-friendly facilities, a kids’ creative corner and Point Hotel gift bags.

KIN Bar & Dining will also host an exclusive weekend lunch sitting from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, with two- or three-course menus and optional wine pairing. The menu will include seasonal dishes such as yellowtail kingfish crudo with a green chilli emulsion, smoked salmon salad layered with truffled honey, roasted Mount Cotton chicken breast with hazelnut romesco, and fromage blanc parfait with a marinated citrus salad.

Guests who secure a KIN lunch booking will enjoy a perfume-blending experience by Maison 21G. Guided by French master perfumer Johanna Monange, guests will create their own fragrance, with a 10 ml sample to take home.

Over the weekend, Frank’s Pantry will also be serving up $3 non-alcoholic refreshments (including the signature Wolff Coffee blend), complimentary house-made vanilla, chocolate and matcha ice cream, and fresh pastries available for purchase.

General admission to A Weekend for the Neighbourhood is free, with visitors encouraged to register their attendance in advance. Advance bookings are required for yoga, pilates and the Maison 21G fragrance experience, which is only available with a KIN Bar & Dining lunch booking.
