Affordable Art Fair returns from May 7–10, inviting Brisbane art lovers to explore and buy high-quality original contemporary artworks in a relaxed, approachable setting. More than 55 galleries and hundreds of artists will showcase thousands of works spanning painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media, all priced between $100 and $10,000.
Whether you’re a first-time buyer or seasoned collector, artworks can be purchased and taken home on the spot, with gallerists on hand to guide you through the process.
Beyond the booths, there’s a packed program of things to see and do, with live painting across all four days, the chance to discover the next generation of rising stars at Discover: Young Talent, and the return of the ever-popular Children’s Art Studio, offering a playful, hands-on creative space for the littlest artists. Upon arrival, visitors will be greeted by a large-scale suspended mural by immersive artist Jason Parker, and don’t miss the Art ATM by Jackie Case where visitors can ‘withdraw’ a surprise artwork.
As works are snapped up, galleries regularly refresh what’s on display, so no two laps will be the same. Be sure to visit the Affordable Art Fair website to secure your tickets and to view the full four-day program.
