Anywhere Festival is set to return to the City of Moreton Bay from May 8–24, transforming everyday spaces into stages for a packed program that champions creativity, community and live performance. From breweries and living rooms to bowling clubs and community halls, this boundary-pushing festival invites audiences to explore the region while discovering art in places they’d least expect.
The 2026 line-up spans theatre, comedy, cabaret, music, dance and immersive experiences, with a strong focus on local performers alongside visiting artists.
Highlights include The Elemental Being, a striking fusion of circus and contemporary dance staged in a pole and aerial studio, and TRICHOTOMY: Music for Living Rooms, an intimate jazz experience performed inside a private home. For something more interactive, Murder at the Bowlo drops audiences into a retro 1980s whodunnit set in a real bowling club.
Families are well catered for, with playful picks like The Amazing Bubble Show, Punk Rock Potter (Beatrix Potter meets punk rock) and a puppet musical Zietta and the Little Larrikins. Shakespeare also gets a shake-up through fast, funny and audience-led interpretations like Half Hour Hamlet.
Anywhere Festival wraps on Sunday May 24 at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre, where emerging performers, installations and preview shows bring the community together for a fitting finale. Check out the full program on the festival website and start plotting your favourites.
