BIGSOUND 2025

This September, Fortitude Valley transforms into a mecca for music discovery as BIGSOUND – the southern hemisphere’s biggest music industry event – returns to Brisbane. Across three jam-packed nights, more than 120 of the most exciting new acts from Australia and beyond will showcase their sounds across 18 buzzing Valley venues, with just one wristband granting access to it all.

Featured in the 2025 line-up is WAFIA, whose soulful mix of electronic and RnB continues to turn global heads, and neo-soul favourite KAIIT, who is returning to the stage with powerful new material. Also on the bill is Perth’s 12-year-old hip-hop prodigy Inkabee, indie-pop breakout Azure Ryder, hometown favourite Hatchie and high-voltage rockers The Southern River Band.

Genres spanning punk, pop, indie-rock, folk, country, electronic and everything in between make BIGSOUND a magnet for music fans and industry tastemakers chasing the sounds of tomorrow. With past alumni including Flume, Lime Cordiale, The Jungle Giants and Vera Blue, BIGSOUND has long been the place where future icons take flight.
