As technology moves us further from the natural world, Bad Nature asks what we’re losing along the way.
In a groundbreaking world premiere exclusive to Brisbane Festival, genre-defying dance production Bad Nature is set to captivate audiences with a bold fusion of movement, sound, fashion and immersive design. This large-scale international collaboration unites Australasian Dance Collective and the Netherlands’ Club Guy & Roni, bringing together a visionary creative team to explore the fragile, shifting relationships humans have with nature and each other.
Twelve dancers – six from each company – perform within a kinetic environment conceived by acclaimed Dutch artist Boris Acket, where light, sound and sculptural elements shift and evolve to mimic the natural word. With costumes by fashion provocateurs Maison the Faux and a live score from experimental collective HIIIT and Australian percussionists, Bad Nature is a charged, full-sensory experience that confronts and compels.
Tickets are selling fast – book your seats via the Brisbane Festival website.
