This is certainly not your average Tuesday. Spend your evening watching the sun set over the Brisbane River as you sip some of Western Australia’s best wine.

In what might be the most ambitious showcase that Howard Smith Wharves has ever hosted, EXHILARATING Wines will bring together more than 35 wineries to pour approximately 150 different drops from leading wine-producing regions, much to the delight of Brisbane vino lovers. You’ll discover some of the region’s most renowned winemakers, the likes of Leeuwin Estate, Vasse Felix (Margaret River’s oldest winery), Moss Wood, Cape Mentelle and more.

There are two options for vinophiles to taste the best of what Western Australia has to offer. The first is the Golden Hour Showcase event. This walk-around wine tasting invites patrons to sample wines from dozens of wineries and meet the people behind the labels, with grazing boards and a take-home RIEDEL magnum glass included.

Those really looking to indulge can upgrade to the Golden Hour VIP Experience, which grants early access to the showcase event, plus an intimate guided wine tasting with Erin Larkin, the Australian Reviewer for bimonthly wine publication, Robert Parker Wine Advocate.

With a phenomenal mix of internationally recognised and exciting emerging winemakers in attendance, EXHILARATING Wines From Western Australia is an unmissable opportunity to taste your way around Australia’s west coast.
