Fijian Flying Circus

Get ready to be swept away by the infectious energy of the Fijian Flying Circus! No passport is needed for this island adventure because Fijian dance tribe VOU are bringing their celebration of spirit, joy and culture to the South Bank Piazza as part of Brisbane Festival’s 2026 program. 

The 120-minute performance follows our heroine, Loma, as she embarks on a fairy-tale-esque adventure, tumbling into a mystical world filled with mischievous forest spirits known as veli, towering giants, and elemental forces. 

Featuring high-energy dance, music and acrobatics, you can expect jaw-dropping (and frankly, gravity-defying) stunts, heartwarming moments and side-splitting scenes.
