Brisbane, brace yourself – Freeze Fest 2025 is taking over The Prince Consort from Tuesday July 1 to Sunday July 6, turning the Fortitude Valley favourite into a snow-dusted playground of frosty fun. With frozen cocktails, Fireball shot luges, pickleball tournaments, drag bingo, live DJs, roving magicians and ice-carving on the cards, this is set to be one of the coolest weeks of the year!
The party kicks off with a massive Canada Day celebration on Tuesday – expect plenty of antics alongside an all-day Canadian-inspired menu (hello, poutine), ice hockey highlights on screen, a round of Canada-themed trivia and heaps of giveaways.
From there, it’s non-stop midwinter mischief and aprés-ski vibes. Wednesday brings live ice-carving, DJs in the Garden Bar and the fabulously frosty Naughty Nordic Drag Bingo. Thursday keeps the magic going with roving magician acts, pickleball competitions and plenty of icy sips. On Friday, the competition gets fierce with pickleball from 5:00 pm and Smooth Odyssey lighting up the stage, followed by DJs to keep the dancefloor moving into the night.
On Saturday, it all peaks at the Winter Wonderland White Party. Dress head-to-toe in white (think ‘alpine chic’ vibes), sip on Aperol spritzes, catch a sunset piano set and dance to DJ beats under twinkling lights until late. Entry is free, so rally the crew and get ready to sparkle.
Sunday wraps with pickleball finals and one last DJ-fuelled hurrah.
