Fairytales will get a dark and daring overhaul when Shake & Stir Theatre Co returns to QPAC with smash-hit production GRIMM Tales from the Brothers Grimm. Running for a limited season from May 22 to June 13, this cult favourite flips the script on the stories you thought you knew.

Set inside an abandoned drinking house deep in the forest, familiar faces like Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood step out of the shadows to share their never-before-told truths – raw, twisted and far from storybook-perfect. Secrets surface, surprises land and classic tales unravel on stage in unexpected ways, with no happily ever afters in sight.
