In Conversation with Mary Lou Ryan and Arielle Thomas at Gerard’s

On Thursday March 27, James Street will come alive at night for the annual James St Up Late street party. From 5:00 pm, the world-renowned retail and dining district will come alive, as more than 90 James St venues and retailers – from high-end fashion boutiques and design houses to top-notch restaurants and bars – will be trading well into the evening.

The night will also see a number of the precinct’s restaurants host one-off events, with Middle Eastern-inspired institution Gerard’s hosting a ticketed dinner and in-conversation event with bassike co-founder Mary Lou Ryan and Arielle Thomas, host of Process The Podcast. Arielle will dive into Mary Lou’s journey, digging into the pivotal role in shaping Australian fashion and pioneering a more sustainable and ethical industry. In addition to the thought-provoking conversation, the Gerard’s kitchen will be serving an exquisite traditional Levantine-inspired banquet featuring a mezza selection, yellowfin tuna crudo and Longreach lamb shoulder with saltbush zhoug, smoked labne, Ord River hummus and Falls Farm shirazi salad.

Tickets are $150 per person and include a cocktail upon arrival.
