La Boite Theatre: WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!

Something colossal is awakening in the deep off the Queensland coast. Back in Brisbane, high school student Theo is sounding the alarm – but no one’s paying attention. As panic brews and reality blurs, she’s forced to ask the ultimate question – is the real threat the monster, or the world that made it?

La Boite is going full throttle with WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!, a genre-bending theatrical thrill ride stomping into the Roundhouse Theatre for a limited season from July 30 to August 16. Equal parts monster movie, climate-crisis cautionary tale and outrageous live-action comic book, this large-scale production promises big laughs, big scares and even bigger spectacle. Think Godzilla meets The Betoota Advocate, stacked with razor-sharp satire and a dash of doomsday absurdity.

Written by Maddie Nixon and co-directed by David Morton (Dead Puppet Society) and Courtney Stewart (La Boite), this must-see production features an original score by Dean Hanson of Ball Park Music and an incredible all-Queensland cast including Louise Brehmer, Milena Nesic, Ngoc Phan, Anthony Standish and Hsiao-Ling Tang.
