Back by popular demand, W Brisbane’s Pretty in Pink High Tea returns for one weekend only across 9-11 May. Brisbane Phoenix Restaurant has curated a $65 Mother’s Day Yum Cha set menu, brimming with delicious dim sum and share plates. Chow down on a selection of Chinese dishes like pork xiao long bao, king prawn dumplings, spicy salt-and-chilli calamari and a roasted platter with duck, pork belly and barbecue pork, finishing off with mango pudding and a fresh fruit platter. Opera Queensland Costume Display

Venture to Podium Level 1 (just downstairs from the restaurants) and check out the beautiful costumes on display from Opera Queensland’s La Cenerentola (Cinderella). These gorgeous gowns are on loan from Opera Queensland’s beautiful production of Le Cenerentola and include enchanting pieces like an extravagant cape adorned with hundreds of hand-sewn flowers, an Alexander McQueen floral suit worn by Timothee Chalamet, Cinderella’s glittering ball gown and more magical costumes worn by the iconic characters. La Cenerentola by Opera Queensland costumes will be on display at Brisbane Quarter from 6 May to 1 June 2025 and is a FREE installation.
