Eat Street Northshore is kicking off early this Mother’s Day, with the riverside precinct opening at 12:00 pm (instead of the usual 4:00 pm) for ‘Brisbane’s Longest Lunch’ – a full day of food, drinks and live entertainment.
On Sunday May 10, every mum will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of sparkling on arrival, before the focus turns to the food. With more than 60 micro-restaurants and bars in one place, the options span global street food, comfort eats and indulgent desserts, making it easy to move between bites and try a bit of everything.
New arrivals Sea Salt and Gnocchi Bros. are worth seeking out, serving fresh North Queensland lobster rolls and crispy, deep-fried gnocchi alongside all of the Eat Street favourites.
Beyond the food, there will of action and entertainment for mum and the whole family. A make-your-own bouquet station with Blooms by Ella will run across the weekend, while Paint & Sip sessions on Sunday offer a creative break for mum in between bites. Live music and roving performers will keep things lively throughout the day, with sets from Levi Xander, Route 33 and Sex & Chocolate.
