MS Moonlight Walk

Lace up your walking shoes for a good cause this October as Roma Street Parklands lights up in colour to fundraise for the 1.3 million Queenslanders living with MS and other neurological conditions.

Returning to the lush gardenscape of Roma Street Parklands, the MS Moonlight Walk continues to shine a light on MS through the simple act of walking. Choose your difficulty level with 2.5, 5 and 7.5 km track options which wind through the park lit with moonlight and glowing lanterns. Walk alone or build a team with friends and family, to show your support for those experiencing the physical and social disconnect that comes from living with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, stroke, dementia, epilepsy and motor neurone disease.

As the sun sets behind the city skyline, each step taken through the park’s starlit haven will foster compassion and community. This walk provides essential fundraising, as only 6 percent of people living with neurological conditions are able to access NDIS support. The MS Moonlight Walk will raise funds for services including The Neuro Assist Line, Neuro Wellness Hubs expansion, access to MS Nursing and telehealth appointments, and MS cure research. Head on down to the celebration lawn before the walk begins, where you can rest up at the Moonlight Festival. Enjoy live music, a bite to eat and exciting activities including best-dressed competitions and the official opening ceremony.
