New Year’s Eve at Night Market

Fortitude Valley’s Night Market is dialling up the fun this New Year’s Eve with a two-part celebration that blends feasting, festive buzz and an electric rooftop countdown. With its Asian-fusion flavours, Japanese-inspired plates and crafted cocktails, Night Market captures the lively spirit of Asia’s bustling food precincts – and on New Year’s Eve, that energy shifts into full party mode.

From 7:00–9:00 pm, guests will settle in for a chef’s banquet that showcases the venue’s boldest flavours – think chicken-thigh skewers glazed in tare with kosho and lime, steamed gyoza swimming in chilli oil and chives, and the cult-favourite okonomiyaki fries loaded with tonkatsu mayo. A glass of bubbles on arrival kicks off the evening, followed by a two-hour drinks package with beer, wine and spirits to keep the vibe high.

Then, at 9:00 pm, the night elevates. Guests head upstairs to Eclipse Bar, which will transform into a buzzing NYE hotspot, complete with music, drinks and all the countdown excitement you’d expect from a rooftop in The Valley.
