From July 17–26 , the beloved Noosa alive! Festival returns with ten days of arts, culture and entertainment across Noosa, boasting a packed program of theatre, music, dance, literature and conversation. Now in its 24th year, highlights of the 2026 iteration include intimate ‘In Conversation’ events with figures like Maggie Beer, Bryan Brown, Louise Milligan and Robert Forster, plus the return of Queensland Ballet and the world premiere of Coping with Winter starring Erik Thomson. Music lovers can catch performances from the Grigoryan Brothers, a gala opera dinner at Elysium Noosa, Tottie Goldsmith’s tribute to Olivia Newton-John, and Ursula Yovich singing Nina Simone, alongside the world premiere of David Williamson’s new play Coping With Winter (starring Erik Thomson), gourmet farm-to-plate lunches, live talks from Osher Günsberg and Blanche d’Alpuget, and the free family-friendly STARS ALIVE! finale (complete with live music, food trucks and kid’s activities) on the Noosa River.
