The Winter Solstice Festival returns to Northey Street City Farm on Saturday June 27, transforming the community hub into a glowing celebration of fire, food, music and creativity inspired by this year’s theme, “Return to the Light”. The all-ages event will feature gardening and cultural workshops, ethical markets, yoga and meditation sessions, family-friendly craft activities, a lantern parade, Solstice Ceremony and bonfire, alongside food stalls, fire shows and live entertainment. Music highlights include headline act Tjaka — known for blending rap, funk, rock and electronic sounds with the Didjeribone — plus performances from Monique Clare, Los HOUSEPLANTS F.C., LEEVAI, Rivermouth, Arianna and more.
