Opera fans and costume lovers, mark your calendars – Opera Queensland is swinging open its wardrobe doors for one day only! On Saturday October 25, the Opera Queensland Studio will transform into a treasure trove of theatrical magic, brimming with hundreds of hand-crafted costumes from the company’s most beloved productions.

This is your chance to take home a piece of operatic history. Each item has been meticulously created by Opera Queensland’s talented wardrobe team, designed to tell stories of love, loss and triumph on stage – and now, they could star in your own wardrobe or next costume party.

Whether you’re hunting for a head-turning Halloween outfit, a unique statement piece or a touch of stage sparkle, you’ll find it here. The sale runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (EFTPOS only, no cash) and admission is completely free.
