For 42 years, the Queensland Garden Show has been inspiring green thumbs to grow, learn and get their hands dirty, and this July the beloved event returns to Nambour for a bumper celebration of all things gardening.
From July 10–12, more than seven hectares of the Nambour Showgrounds will transform into a thriving hub of plants, expert advice and garden inspiration. Welcoming more than 25,000 visitors each year, the three-day event brings together more than 360 exhibitors, including 55 specialist nurseries selling an extraordinary 60,000 plants every day.
Whether you’re searching for a hardy native, a productive edible plant or something a little harder to find, the Queensland Garden Show offers one of the state’s largest collections of plants in a single location. Beyond the shopping, visitors can enjoy more than 70 free talks and demonstrations across four live stages, with gardening personalities including Graham Ross, Sophie Thomson, Jerry Coleby-Williams and Phil Dudman sharing their knowledge.
There will also be hands-on workshops, practical advice at the popular Plant Clinic and the chance to explore the fully planted Giant Kitchen Garden. Returning favourites such as the rooster crowing competition add a dose of country charm, while dedicated children’s activities and free entry for kids aged 15 and under make it an easy family day out.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, the Queensland Garden Show is the place to discover new plants, pick up expert tips and return home brimming with inspiration.
