With an impressive 35-year legacy, Recovered Futures is returning during Queensland Mental Health Week this October. Regarded as a cornerstone annual event of the art calendar, the exhibition brings together over 280 artworks and offers artists a rare opportunity to exhibit and sell their work.

Showcasing a raw and powerful variety of mediums, all submissions have been created by artists with personal experiences of mental health challenges, whether their own or those of someone close to them. The exhibition aids these creatives by offering an avenue of direct support for their work, with 85 percent of proceeds from each sale going to the creator.

Welcoming back returning artists alongside new contributors, Recovered Futures – hosted by Richmond Fellowship Queensland – creates a platform for artists to share meaningful stories that invite reflection, connection and conversation among patrons.

On display within a grand marquee in King George Square, you can catch the exhibition from October 9–14.
