Across four weekends this June, the Samford & Hinterland Arts Trail returns, giving you a ready-made plan for a creative day out.
Running on Saturdays and Sundays, the self-guided trail winds through Samford Valley and surrounds, including Dayboro, Eatons Hill and Bunya. More than 70 artists will open their doors across 30-plus venues, turning the area into a sprawling, open-air gallery.
Visitors can step inside working studios, meet the makers and explore a wide mix of mediums, from painting and ceramics to jewellery, textiles and mixed media. It’s a chance to see works in progress and hear the stories behind each piece.
The 2026 program also features hands-on workshops, live demonstrations and artist talks, with sessions spanning watercolour, etching and terrarium making.
A new central hub at the Samford Community Church Shed (44 Mt Glorious Rd) will bring together 20 artists, alongside daily demos and a coffee van, making it an easy starting point or stop along the way.
