South Bank’s Midweek Magic dining deals

Why save your social plans for the weekend when you can dine out on a dime midweek at South Bank? 

South Bank and some of your favourite restaurants have teamed up to offer some tasty bargains, with $50 dining for two deals and $10 parking after 6:00 pm, Monday to Thursday. Happy days – because that means eating out is no longer reserved for special occasions, and you don’t have to decide what to cook tonight.

The hardest choice you’ll have to face is which of these tasty offers to try first.

Tuck into a set menu for two at Ahmet’s, with Turkish bread, dips, sigara börek, chicken skewers with rice and cucumber yoghurt and a Turkish delight dessert.

Middle Eastern favourites Baba Ganouj is dishing up a Layali feast for two, featuring hummus, fattoush, batata harra, Lebanese rice, cheese sambousek, chicken shawarma and fresh saj bread.

Barbossa Bar & Bottle Shop has nailed winter comfort food, with cauliflower bites, baked brie and a half rack of pork ribs on the menu.

If you can’t turn down a burg, check out Brooklyn Depot for two classic burgers with fries, two drinks (choose from Brooklyn lager, Coca-Cola or house wine) and a dessert to share. 

Carb load at Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers with your dining deal including two mains, two house wines (or beers) or a dessert each. 

Harajuku Gyoza’s $50 feast features an eight-piece gyoza dish (with your choice of pork, prawn or duck filling), chicken karaage and tempura eggplant to share, plus a drink, rice and miso soup each. 

Poppies Southbank has date night covered with pasta and wine for two, featuring its snow crab linguine, white beef ragu linguine or a mushroom and cream risoni. 

At River Quay Fish you’ll find a seafood special for two on offer – decide between eight oysters and a glass of wine each, or salt and pepper squid, garlic prawns and two drinks (wine, beer or soft drink).
