The Long Sunset *Event Cancelled*

Beloved indie heavyweights Boy & Bear and pop powerhouse Vera Blue will lead the charge when The Long Sunset makes its glowing return to the Scenic Rim from October 31 to November 2, 2025. After last year’s sell-out, the open-air festival is setting up a new base in Boonah, just over an hour from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, promising a weekend of live music, creativity and connection framed by sweeping country views.

Joining the headliners is a stellar lineup of homegrown favourites including Gretta Ray, The Buoys, Jem Cassar-Daley, Tjaka, Playlunch, The Vernons and family rockers Bunny Racket, alongside emerging acts Paper Lane and Silk ’N’ Oak. Expect a kaleidoscope of genres — from soulful pop and indie folk to rollicking blues and groove-heavy funk – plus art installations, workshops and late-night revelry under the stars.
