Each year, Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers greets more new faces and welcomes back regular attendees, with a program that seems to bloom bigger and brighter every year (quite like the gardens, really).

The program in 2026 is no exception to the rule, with the festival’s exclusive Tasting Tours returning to take guests on a curated culinary journey.

The Tasting Tours are limited to intimate groups to ensure your time with your knowledgeable host is well spent, and you’ll enjoy small bites that complement your beverage experience.

This year, you can choose from three themes for the tours, running over consecutive days from September 18–20.

Kicking the Tours off is Sip & Stroll – a hosted cocktail tour that winds its way through some of Toowoomba’s favourite watering holes, with each one serving up a seasonal treat. Each stop pairs a bite to eat with your cocktail as you soak up the festive energy the Carnival brings to town.

On Saturday afternoon, it’s Cork & Walk’s time to steal the show. Perfect for vino lovers, this hosted wine tour introduces you to three of the city’s favourite wine lists. Perfect for wine lovers of all levels and paired with snacks and a lovely stroll – there are few better ways to spend an afternoon.

Rounding things out is the Sunday session of your dreams. Three different venues and three great beers await you on the Pint Pursuit. This relaxed wander between three of the best places to sip a schooner keeps you satisfied with tasty morsels to tuck into. Not a beer drinker? Don’t fret. This pursuit of a good time ensures that a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic option is available to all tour members, so no one misses out.

These cosy Tasting Tours will book out quickly, so make haste to reserve your spot online at the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers
